Bank Indonesia is introducing sharia economy concepts to younger generations through the Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) 2026. As part of a multi-generational approach, the central bank will host ISEF 2026 within the Roblox World gaming platform to maximize engagement with youth.

Governor of Bank Indonesia, Destry Damayanti, stated that the initiative aims to use the popular gaming platform as an educational medium. The festival also includes the VITRAH competition, which encourages Indonesian creative talent to promote sharia economic values through futuristic animation. To increase economic impact, ISEF 2026 will be held back-to-back with the Trade Expo to facilitate interaction between buyers and investors.
