Bank Jatim supports SMEs in East Java-Aceh trade mission

The East Java Provincial Government's Trade and Investment Mission in Banda Aceh recorded transactions totaling Rp1.218 trillion. As part of this initiative, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) facilitated three of its mentored micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to explore market opportunities in Aceh.

The participating MSMEs include Masnia Collection from Pasuruan, which produces embroidered clothing; Sharleez Skincare from Surabaya, offering skincare products; and Batik Gajah Mungkur from Gresik, which markets batik products.

Bank Jatim President Director Winardi Legowo stated that the mission serves as a strategic momentum to connect MSME potential with broader market opportunities and inter-regional trade cooperation. East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa noted that such missions act as strategic instruments to connect commodity-rich regions with those in need of supplies, thereby shortening distribution chains.
