Bank Mandiri Taspen and Universitas Andalas sign research and retiree service MoU

PT Bank Mandiri Taspen (Bank Mantap) and Universitas Andalas (UNAND) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic collaboration. The partnership aims to optimize the implementation of higher education principles, specifically focusing on research, community service, and financial services for retirees.

UNAND Rector Efa Yonnedi highlighted the university's two core business pillars: educational services, supported by over 150 study programs, and research. The university produces approximately 1,000 to 1,400 research titles annually, many of which aim to generate innovation and commercial products. The Rector emphasized that this synergy should result in concrete actions rather than remaining a mere formal document.

Bank Mandiri Taspen Business Director Mahrauza Purnaditya stated that the bank is committed to supporting UNAND's activities. As the bank enters its 11th year, it intends to leverage this collaboration to strengthen its ecosystem of services dedicated to the welfare of retirees.
