Bank of America announces multi-state branch expansion

Bank of America has announced a strategic expansion of its physical branch network across several U.S. states, including Louisiana, Alabama, and Wisconsin. The initiative aims to balance the bank's digital investments with increased face-to-face banking services and community engagement.

In Louisiana, the bank plans to open eight new financial centers starting in the second half of 2027. Construction is already underway at two locations: 4350 General De Gaulle Drive in New Orleans and 830 N. Highway 190 in Covington. This regional expansion is expected to create approximately 60 local jobs.

In Alabama, the institution intends to open 10 new branches by 2027. Meanwhile, the bank will establish its first financial center network in Wisconsin, with plans to create 19 new centers by 2030 and hire roughly 130 employees in that state.
