Bank of Ayudhya reports 3.9% profit growth in first nine months

Bank of Ayudhya (BAY) reported a net profit of 25,572 million baht for the first nine months of 2026, representing a 3.9% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The growth occurred despite a low-interest-rate environment and was driven by strong performance in large corporate loans and high-yield business segments within the ASEAN region, as well as contributions from the TIDLOR loan portfolio.

Total loans grew by 0.8% from the end of 2025, supported by a 6.5% expansion in large corporate loans and a 7.7% increase in ASEAN-based loans. However, this growth was partially offset by contractions in the small and medium enterprise (SME) and domestic retail loan sectors. The bank also noted effective management of financial costs and operating expenses as key factors in its performance.
