Bank of Baroda enters pension sector and joins national cleanliness drive
Bank of Baroda has expanded its service offerings and social initiatives. The bank has officially entered the pension fund sector, becoming the second public sector bank to receive a Certificate of Appointment as a Sponsor of the Pension Fund from the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).
As part of this expansion, the bank has integrated Tatkal NPS onto the BHIM App to facilitate digital onboarding for the National Pension System. This move aims to increase accessibility to retirement solutions through digital innovation.
Additionally, the bank is participating in the Government of India’s ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’ campaign. Employees across nationwide branches are conducting cleanliness and hygiene awareness activities to promote waste management and environmental responsibility as part of the fortnight-long program.
