Bank of Baroda launches AI-powered bob World 2.0 app

Bank of Baroda has launched bob World 2.0, an AI-powered next-generation mobile banking application. The platform was demonstrated at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai to Sanjay Lohiya, Secretary of the Department of Financial Services, and Bank of Baroda CEO Debadatta Chand.

Built on a microservices-based digital architecture, the app aims to provide a conversational and personalized banking experience. Key features include voice-enabled navigation and payments, a Personal Financial Management (PFM) module for tracking finances, and hyper-personalization tailored to specific user groups such as senior citizens, women, millennials, and NRIs. The platform also incorporates a multi-layered security framework designed for real-time protection.
