Bank of Cyprus posts €481 million profit and approves €0.50 dividend for 2025

At its Annual General Meeting on 15 May 2026, Bank of Cyprus approved a final dividend of €0.50 per ordinary share for the financial year that ended on 31 December 2025.

The bank reported a net profit of €481 million for 2025, with a return on tangible equity (ROTE) of 18.6 % and a CET1 capital ratio of 21.0 %. Interest income reached €731 million, the cost‑to‑income ratio was 37 %, and loan‑loss provisions stayed below €40 million. The dividend payout represented 70 % of profit, amounting to €305 million ( €0.70 per share). Management signalled plans to increase the payout to up to 90 % in 2026 and potentially 100 % in 2027‑28, subject to market conditions. The AGM also authorized the board to issue new shares and to consider further capital actions.
