Bank of Cyprus wins Cyprus’ Best Digital Bank at Euromoney Awards

The Bank of Cyprus (BoC) was named Cyprus’ Best Digital Bank at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, reflecting its digital transformation over the 2025 evaluation period. Key innovations cited included the launch of Fleksy, Cyprus’ first buy‑now‑pay‑later service, upgrades to the Joey youth banking app with new savings, goals and peer‑to‑peer transfer features, the expansion of QuickAccount to support GBP and USD accounts, and the market’s first digital housing loan. The bank reported more than 500,000 active digital users, underscoring strong customer adoption.

Chief Digital Officer Demetris Nicolaou said the award validates the bank’s strategy of providing easy, anytime access to financial products. BoC also retained its titles as Best Private Bank in Cyprus and Best for High‑Net‑Worth Individuals at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards 2026.
