Bank of India Pays Rs 71 Lakh Insurance Claim to SRK Exports Employee’s Family in Surat

Bank of India, under its Salary Account Scheme, disbursed a free group personal accidental insurance claim of Rs 71 lakh to the family of a deceased employee of SRK Exports Private Limited in Surat, Gujarat. The payment was presented by SRK Exports chairman Govindbhai Dholakia, with Bank officials Ajay Tripathi, senior manager of the Ahmedabad FGMO, and Rajesh Kumar, Surat zone manager, in attendance. The scheme provides up to Rs 2 crore of free accidental insurance cover for central and state government employees and up to Rs 1 crore for eligible private‑sector staff who hold salary accounts with the bank. In the previous financial year, Bank of India settled a total of Rs 1.42 crore in similar claims for SRK Exports employees, highlighting the program’s role in employee welfare.
