Bank of Palestine and Ministry of Labor sign economic empowerment MoU
Bank of Palestine and the Palestinian Ministry of Labor have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in economic empowerment, financial inclusion, and support for small projects and self-employment. The agreement was signed at the Bank of Palestine headquarters in Ramallah, attended by Minister of Labor Dr. Inas Dahdah Al-Attari and Bank of Palestine General Manager Mahmoud Al-Shawa.
The partnership focuses on providing integrated financing, training, awareness, and advisory programs specifically for women, female entrepreneurs, and persons with disabilities. Key objectives include equipping these groups with the necessary management skills to establish and run projects, as well as developing digital skills to utilize electronic trade and service tools.
Additionally, the collaboration aims to raise banking and financial literacy among target groups, helping them access and manage financing responsibly. Mahmoud Al-Shawa stated that the partnership provides the necessary tools to transform the potential of these groups into sustainable and growing economic opportunities.
