Bank of Palestine donates $1 million for new cancer center

Bank of Palestine has announced a donation of $1 million to support the establishment of a cancer center at An-Najah National University Hospital. The initiative aims to enhance the Palestinian healthcare system by providing modern, specialized medical services for oncology patients.

Mahmoud Al-Shawa, General Manager of Bank of Palestine, stated that the project is intended to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and specialized care. The bank continues to allocate more than 5% of its annual profits to social responsibility programs, with a specific focus on the health and education sectors.

Rami Hamdallah, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at An-Najah National University, noted that the center will serve as a qualitative addition to the health sector, providing specialized capabilities to serve patients across the country.
