Bank of Palestine partners with Palestinian Green Building Council

Bank of Palestine has signed a support and partnership agreement with the Palestinian Green Building Council to promote environmental sustainability and the green economy in Palestine.

The partnership aims to foster a culture of sustainable construction and develop environmental standards within the construction and business sectors. Under the agreement, Bank of Palestine will provide financial and technical support to sponsor the Council’s programs. This support is intended to enable smart solutions for sustainable projects, including the rationalization of energy and water consumption and the adoption of renewable energy in construction.

Bank of Palestine CEO Mohammad Shawar stated that the bank is integrating responsible environmental practices into its strategic direction and social responsibility. Seri Saadeh, Chairman of the Palestinian Green Building Council, noted that the support will help the Council promote green architecture and provide technical and logistical assistance for sustainable pioneering projects in Palestine.
