Bank of Sydney appoints new retail and business banking leaders
Bank of Sydney has announced new executive leadership appointments to support its next phase of growth following a core banking transformation. Sam Tomaras has been named Chief Retail Banking Officer, overseeing retail channels, customer propositions, lending, and deposits. Hisham Nakkash has been appointed Chief Business Banking Officer, responsible for the SME and commercial banking portfolios, including trade finance and business development.
These appointments follow the retirement of former Chief Banking Officer Huw Bough. The bank restructured its division to establish dedicated leadership for both retail and business segments, aiming to improve customer relationship management and decision-making.
