Bank of Utah Championship returns to Black Desert Resort in Utah
The 2026 Bank of Utah Championship takes place from October 1 to October 4 at the Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah. This PGA Tour FedExCup Fall event features a 120-player field competing for a $6 million purse.
Michael Brennan enters the tournament as the defending champion, having won the event in 2025. Other notable players include 21-year-old rookie Jackson Koivun, who is a betting favorite following his performance in the Presidents Cup, and Utah native Tony Finau. Finau faces significant pressure as he currently sits at 100th on the FedExCup Fall list, the threshold for securing full PGA Tour membership for the 2027 season.
The Black Desert Resort course is a par-71 layout designed by Tom Weiskopf, characterized by its desert landscape and lava fields. The tournament serves as a critical opportunity for players to secure points and improve their standing for the upcoming season.
