Baník Ostrava undergoes squad changes with multiple player departures
Baník Ostrava is undergoing squad changes under coach Roman Skuhravý, resulting in several players departing the club.
Among the departures, David Buchta has completed a permanent transfer to the Balkans. In an emotional farewell to fans on social media, Buchta expressed his gratitude for his years at the club, stating, “Baník has been in my heart from the very beginning and always will be.”
Other players are leaving on loan to gain more playing time. Eighteen-year-old Slovakian striker Jakub Pira has joined Karviná, where he has already begun scoring goals in the Chance Národní Liga. Marek Havran has also moved to Mladá Boleslavi on a loan deal. Additionally, experienced defender Karel Pojezný has joined Artis Brno on loan with an option to buy, following a period of limited playing time under the current coaching staff.
