Bank Rakyat Indonesia declares record dividend as Bank BTN reports profit surge
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) announced a cash dividend of Rp52.1 trillion for fiscal year 2025, the highest in its history. The bank posted consolidated net profit of Rp57.13 trillion for the year ended 31 December 2025, with profit attributable to the parent of Rp56.65 trillion. In the first quarter of 2026, BRI reported a net profit of Rp15.5 trillion, a 13.7 % year‑on‑year increase, credit disbursements of Rp1,562 trillion and third‑party funds of Rp1,555 trillion. The results were presented at the annual shareholders meeting on 10 April 2026, with BRI’s CEO Hery Gunardi highlighting the role of Danantara’s supervision in accelerating the bank’s transformation program.
PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) also posted strong results, reporting net profit of Rp1.85 trillion for the period to May 2026, a 54.37 % rise from the previous year. BTN attributed the performance to its integration into the Danantara ecosystem, which it said has improved operational efficiency, digitalisation and capital optimisation. BTN’s CEO Nixon LP Napitupulu noted that the collaboration with Danantara is helping the bank expand beyond its traditional mortgage focus and deliver greater value to stakeholders.
