Sumqayit Industrial Park Welcomes New Resident for Food‑Processing Project
The Economic Zones Development Agency has granted resident status to FT Uerxauzinq Kompani MMC in the Sumqayit Industrial Park. The company will carry out a food‑product sorting and packaging project valued at 18.5 million manat, which is expected to create about 100 new jobs.
To date, the Sumqayit Industrial Park hosts 42 enterprises with a total cumulative investment of roughly 6.8 billion manat. Resident firms have invested more than 5.7 billion manat in the park, generating over 6,000 permanent positions across the region.
