Bank Syariah Indonesia reports Rp 78.6 trillion in ESG financing

Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) has recorded environmental, social, and governance (ESG) financing totaling Rp 78.6 trillion as of June 2026. This figure represents 23.1 percent of the company's total financing and marks a 7.09 percent growth compared to the previous period.

Of this total, green financing reached Rp 17.4 trillion, while social financing accounted for Rp 61.2 trillion. BSI has also strengthened its sustainable funding through the issuance of sustainable sukuk, totaling Rp 8 trillion out of a total Rp 10 trillion issuance. Additionally, the bank launched Rp 1.5 trillion in sustainability-linked financing specifically for the Bali Mandara Toll Road project.
