Bank travel discounts roll out in Chile and Argentina

BancoEstado and low‑cost carrier JetSMART announced a joint benefits program for Chilean customers that runs from July 2024 to December 2026. Discounts include up to 100% off checked‑baggage, 50% off seat selection and pet transport, plus interest‑free installment options for cardholders. Promotional campaigns will also offer up to 50% off national and international flights, with the discount rate linked to the type of BancoEstado account or credit‑card tier used at purchase.

In Argentina, Banco Provincia del Neuquén (BPN) launched a winter‑tourism benefits package ahead of the ski season. The program provides 12‑month interest‑free payments for ski‑pass tickets, equipment rentals and hotel stays, as well as 25% fuel discounts on Tuesdays and special promotions with YPF, Cabify and airlines. Additional discounts of up to 25% on dining and 50% off the first five Cabify rides are also included, aiming to boost regional tourism.
