Banking institutions Banco Bica and CaixaBank launch digital platform updates

Banco Bica has launched iBica, an updated home banking and mobile application designed for both individual and corporate users. The new version, available on web, Android, and iOS, focuses on intuitive navigation, customizable favorites, and improved self-management tools such as receipt downloading and dark mode. General Manager Mariano Angulo stated that the evolution aims to compete with fintechs by combining technology with active user feedback to optimize the banking experience.

In Spain, CaixaBank has overhauled its business application to transition from a simple information tool to a comprehensive product sales platform. Small businesses and companies can now use the app to open accounts, request credit, order card terminals, and subscribe to insurance policies. The update also features improved management of financing data, loan status tracking, and a redesigned interface for handling direct debits and pending operations.
