Banking institutions receive 2026 industry awards in Pakistan and Philippines

The 11th Pakistan Banking Awards 2026 have recognized several institutions for excellence in various financial sectors. Meezan Bank Limited was named Best Bank and also received the award for Best Bank for Customer Engagement. Bank Alfalah earned the Best Bank for Digital Excellence award, highlighting advancements in technology-enabled services. The Bank of Punjab (BOP) secured three distinctions: Best Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises, Best Bank for Agriculture Inclusion, and Best Bank for Women Inclusion.

In the Philippines, Security Bank Corporation and Security Bank Capital Investment Corporation received multiple honors at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2026. Security Bank’s Retail Banking Segment won Mobile Banking & Payment Initiative of the Year – Philippines, while its Wholesale Banking Segment was named Domestic Digital Transformation Bank of the Year. Additionally, Security Bank Capital won Syndicated Loan of the Year – Philippines for a PHP150 billion senior term loan for Terra Solar Philippines, Inc.
