Banquete Solidario gathers 500 people in Valparaíso's Barrio Puerto

The 11th edition of the Banquete Solidario took place in the Barrio Puerto neighborhood of Valparaíso, bringing together approximately 500 people. The event was organized through a collaboration between Duoc UC Valparaíso, the Iglesia La Matriz, and Comedor 421.

During the event, the Duoc UC Valparaíso School of Gastronomy prepared and served 458 lunches. Beyond providing food, the initiative aimed to offer companionship and cultural engagement, featuring performances by the Duoc UC V Region Orchestra and a painting exhibition from the Museo Baburizza. The activity serves as a recurring community outreach effort focused on supporting people experiencing homelessness and the local community in the historic port area.
