Banreservas awards artistic residencies in Paris to Dominican creators

Dominican artists Laura Castro and George Heisen Molina have been selected for the “República Dominicana x Cité” residency program in Paris. The initiative, sponsored by Banreservas and promoted by the Dominican Embassy in France, aims to increase the international presence of Dominican contemporary art.

Out of 44 applicants, the two artists will spend three months each at the Cité internationale des arts between January and June 2027. The program provides an opportunity for the creators to engage with the Parisian artistic ecosystem and access French cultural resources to support their research and creative processes.
