Brazilian companies report diverse Q2 2026 financial results

Several Brazilian companies reported diverse second-quarter 2026 financial results. Vibra Energia saw a significant surge in net profit, reaching R$ 2.35 billion, an increase of over 700% compared to the previous year, driven by expanded margins in fuel distribution and strong cash generation.

Raízen reported a net loss of R$ 1.642 billion for the first quarter of the 2026/27 harvest year, an 11% reduction from the prior year. While its adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to R$ 3.848 billion due to strong fuel distribution performance in Brazil, the company faced pressure in its ethanol, sugar, and bioenergy segments.

Banrisul announced a net profit of R$ 547 million for the first half of 2026, despite an 11% annual decline. The bank is focusing on technological modernization, including investments in digital channels and AI.

Other notable reports include Cyrela, which highlighted margin expansion and strong cash generation with a net profit of R$ 452 million, and Randoncorp, which saw its adjusted EBITDA rise by 19.4% to R$ 440.4 million, supported by the agribusiness sector.
