Banská Bystrica begins new sewage network construction
Stredoslovenská vodárenská spoločnosť is commencing the construction of a public sewage network in Banská Bystrica. The project will begin on Lipová Street in the Podlavice district and will subsequently extend to the Rudlová area.
The new infrastructure will span approximately 1.2 kilometers and is expected to benefit more than 80 households. The investment aims to improve environmental protection by reducing sewage discharge into the Rudlovský stream and protecting groundwater quality.
The project is funded by a non-repayable contribution of over 2 million euros from the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic. Construction in the Lipová area is scheduled to begin the week of October 12 and is estimated to last between one and two months.
