Banská Bystrica to host science discussion for women in science

The “Curious Debates – Women in Science” event is scheduled to take place on October 14, 2026, at the Mikuláš Kováč Public Library in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. The discussion aims to bring scientific topics closer to the public through the authentic stories of Slovak female scientists.

Three experts will present research covering diverse fields: soil health and ecosystem services, molecular oncology, and advancements in modern embryology and reproductive medicine. Beyond scientific discoveries, the event will address personal experiences, career challenges, new technologies, and the status of women in the current research environment.
