Banten authorities launch joint security patrols to prevent crime

Law enforcement agencies in Banten, Indonesia, have intensified security measures through various patrols and joint operations to maintain public order and prevent crime.

In the Cisauk and Pamulang areas, local police (Polsek) have increased nighttime preventive activities. These efforts include stationary raids and patrols aimed at preventing ‘3C’ crimes: theft, robbery, and vehicle theft. In Cisauk, operations involved multiple personnel targeting strategic locations such as Jalan Raya LAPAN and various residential areas. Similarly, in Pamulang, authorities conducted community security meetings and routine increased activities to ensure local stability.

On a broader scale, the Banten Regional Police (Polda Banten) conducted a large-scale joint patrol involving 70 personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP). Led by AKBP Kamdiyah, the operation targeted strategic points across the Banten jurisdiction to proactively anticipate potential disturbances and ensure that social and economic activities can proceed without disruption.
