Banten launches caregiver scholarship program for jobs in Japan

The Banten Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) has confirmed a partnership to provide job opportunities in Japan through the Caregiver Scholarship Program. This initiative is a collaborative effort involving Sinar Mas Land, Fuji Academy, the Banten CSR Forum, and the provincial Disnakertrans.

The program is specifically designed for women from Banten who meet certain criteria, including being between 18 and 28 years old, having at least a high school or vocational school diploma, and having no history of color blindness or significant medical issues.

According to M. Bayuni, Head of UPTD Latker Disnakertrans Banten, the selection process is currently underway. Fuji Academy Principal R. Thiky Adelina Permatasari noted that the program includes six months of training before candidates are sent to Japan, with training scheduled to begin in October.
