Banten officials urge RSUD Banten to provide equitable healthcare

Banten Regional Secretary Deden Apriandhi Hartawan has called for RSUD Banten to provide equitable healthcare services to all citizens, regardless of their economic status or method of payment. Speaking at a public consultation forum in Serang, Apriandhi emphasized that the hospital must serve everyone equally, including both BPJS participants and general patients.

Apriandhi, who also serves on the hospital's supervisory board, stressed that quality of care is defined not only by medical expertise but also by the attitude of healthcare workers. He urged staff to maintain politeness, friendliness, and fairness toward all patients. He further advised medical personnel not to fear criticism, noting that negative feedback serves as essential material for institutional improvement.

RSUD Banten Director Danang Hamsah Nugroho stated that the feedback gathered from the forum, which included hospital directors, community representatives, and health volunteers, will serve as a foundation for upcoming service improvements.
