Banten Province expands free health checks and public services

The Banten Provincial Government is expanding its Free Health Check (CKG) program, ensuring that residents identified with medical indications receive follow-up treatment and medical care. Governor Andra Soni stated that the program aims to go beyond mere screening to provide comprehensive healthcare access, including contact tracing for diseases like tuberculosis.

In Tangerang Selatan, the CKG program has reached 53 percent of the population, exceeding national averages. Overall, the program has reached approximately 6.4 million residents across Banten.

Additionally, the provincial government, in collaboration with the Pandeglang Regency, has brought various public services directly to residents in Pandeglang. These services include free health checks, affordable food programs, free business identification number (NIB) processing, MSME services, and the distribution of social assistance. Vice Governor Achmad Dimyati Natakusumah emphasized that these integrated services aim to foster community independence and economic growth.
