Banten Province reports 1.2 million capital market investors

Banten Governor Andra Soni announced that the number of capital market investors in Banten Province reached approximately 1.2 million by the end of March 2026. This figure places the province in fifth place nationally for investor numbers.

Speaking at the 2026 Banten People's Financial Market (PKR) event in Serang, the Governor emphasized the importance of financial inclusion and the role of financial institutions as partners in community welfare. He expressed commitment to expanding financial access through cooperation with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and regional development banks.

In a separate initiative to support local economies, Serang Mayor Budi Rustandi distributed MSME capital assistance to residents in the Curug area. This aid, provided through a collaboration between the Banten Provincial Government and the Banten National Zakat Agency (Baznas), is part of the 'Serang Preneur' program aimed at strengthening small-scale traders and local production capacity.
