Various regional developments are underway across the Banten province. The Banten Provincial Government is preparing to rotate and promote approximately 20 Echelon 2 officials to fill vacancies and refresh leadership roles, according to Regional Secretary Deden Apriandhi Hartawan.

In the sports and cultural sectors, South Tangerang is preparing to host the VII Banten Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) in mid-November 2026, featuring 60 sporting branches. Meanwhile, the Cilegon City Kang Nong 2026 selection process is emphasizing public speaking and local language proficiency as key criteria for candidates.

In education, students from SDN 3 Kramatwatu in Serang Regency have qualified to represent Banten in the national Juara Kelas Indonesia 2026 academic competition. Additionally, SDN Panancangan 5 in Serang City is training for upcoming provincial-level marching competitions in Cilegon.
