Bantul Police deploy 900 officers for PSIM vs. Persija match

The Bantul Police Department is deploying approximately 900 joint personnel to secure the football match between PSIM Yogyakarta and Persija Jakarta at Sultan Agung Stadium (SSA) in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Bantul Police Chief AKBP Bayu Puji Hariyanto stated that the security measures aim to ensure order both inside and around the stadium. Authorities have issued strict prohibitions against bringing dangerous items to the venue, including sharp weapons, firecrackers, flares, fireworks, alcohol, and drugs.

Supporters are urged to maintain sportsmanship and avoid provocative actions, such as fighting, throwing objects, or damaging public facilities. Additionally, officials have requested that spectators park vehicles in designated areas to prevent traffic congestion and ensure smooth movement around the stadium.
