Banyan Gold closes $54.3 million financing round

Banyan Gold Corp. has successfully closed a financing round totaling $54.3 million. This was achieved through a brokered private placement of 23,156,500 common shares at $2.00 per share, generating $46,313,000 in gross proceeds.

In addition to the brokered offering, the company completed a concurrent non-brokered private placement of 4,000,000 shares at $2.00 per share, raising an additional $8,000,000. Canaccord Genuity Corp. acted as the lead agent and sole bookrunner for the offering, supported by a syndicate of agents including Scotia Capital Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., and others.

Among the new investors is Franco-Nevada. Banyan Gold intends to use the net proceeds to advance its Yukon-based projects, specifically the AurMac and Nirat deposits, through 2028. These activities will include drilling, engineering, and permitting processes for what the company describes as one of Canada’s largest gold deposits.
