Banyan Gold reports high-grade gold mineralization in Yukon
Banyan Gold Corp. has announced high-grade gold mineralization at the Powerline Deposit within its AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. The company reported that drillhole AX-26-874 intersected 13.03 g/t Au over 14.2 metres, which includes a significant intercept of 142.70 g/t Au over 1.0 metre.
These results suggest the potential to expand the high-grade core of the Powerline Deposit and upgrade mineralized domains. Notably, the mineralization extends into a largely undrilled gap between the Powerline and Airstrip deposits, an area currently classified as unmineralized in the existing mineral resource model.
The findings are part of Banyan’s ongoing 2026 drilling program, which aims to convert resources and delineate higher-grade areas within and adjacent to the current resource envelope. Other drillhole highlights included intercepts of 7.40 g/t Au over 1.0 metre and 22.30 g/t Au over 1.0 metre.
