Emergency services respond to various incidents in Paraguay, Argentina, and Cuba

Various emergency incidents have been reported across different regions. In Caaguazú, Paraguay, a 64-year-old man, Antenor José Desch, was rescued after an attempted suicide in a police cell. Desch, who was facing charges related to sexual coercion and violation, also had outstanding warrants in Paraguay and Brazil.

In El Cadillal, Argentina, emergency teams including the Lacustrine Police and the Special Rescue and Salvage Group (GERS) conducted a complex operation to rescue a 37-year-old man who fell near the Aguas Chiquitas Waterfall. The victim suffered severe multiple trauma and a head injury, requiring a vertical extraction using ropes and pulleys before being transported to Hospital Padilla.

In Placetas, Cuba, two women were rescued from a torrent after being swept away by a current during intense rainfall. The incident occurred while they were traveling on an electric bicycle. Local firefighters and residents assisted in the rescue, and the bicycle was subsequently recovered.
