Banyumas football team secures Porprov Central Java 2026 semifinal spot

The Banyumas football team has advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Central Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) after defeating Kendal 2-1 in their final Group B match. The victory, held at the Terang Bangsa Field in Semarang, allowed Banyumas to finish as group leaders with seven points from two wins and one draw.

Trisno Sudarso, Chairman of Askab PSSI Banyumas, noted that while the team is optimistic, the coaching staff must evaluate player stamina and physical fatigue following three consecutive matches without rest. The semifinal matches are scheduled to begin on Monday, October 26, 2026.
