Bao Brothers Block Party to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW

Bao Brothers Block Party Cancer Council NSW Stars of Newcastle fundraising event David Griffin

Chef David Griffin is hosting the Bao Brothers Block Party at Wickham's Croatian Club on Saturday, September 5, from 3pm to 7pm. The event will feature DJs, prizes, raffles, a matcha stand, and a nostalgic bao menu to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW.

Griffin is participating in the Stars of Newcastle 2026 gala, an annual fundraiser for Cancer Council NSW where local participants compete in a dance-off. All proceeds from the block party will support cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy, and support services.
