Bao Tin Minh Chau agents seek return of seized gold and goods
Following a legal case involving Bao Tin Minh Chau, several sales agents have gathered at the company’s stores to demand the return of seized assets, including raw gold and various goods.
Legal expert Truong Thanh Duc, Director of ANVI Law Firm, advised that agents should follow formal legal procedures rather than congregating at stores, which may complicate the situation. Under Article 89 of the 2015 Criminal Procedure Code, the seized gold and goods are classified as evidence. These items are inspected, sealed, and stored by investigative authorities.
To reclaim assets, owners or legal managers must submit a formal request to the agency handling the case, providing detailed descriptions of the assets, seizure records, and proof of ownership. Assets classified as evidence may be returned if their release does not interfere with the investigation or the execution of a judgment. Bao Tin Minh Chau has committed to notifying customers and partners as soon as official information regarding the asset handling and return plan becomes available.
