BAP Productions’ ‘Dear Kaffy’ completes sold-out London run

BAP Productions’ London staging of ‘Dear Kaffy – Diary of a Single Woman in Lagos’ has concluded its run at the Shaw Theatre with critical acclaim and sold-out performances. The production, which ran from August 7 to 9, aimed to introduce Nigerian theatrical energy and storytelling to London audiences, resonating with both the Nigerian diaspora and the broader UK theatre community.

The success of the run has generated significant interest in more Nigerian theatre within the UK, with stakeholders and audience members suggesting the establishment of an annual BAP Productions theatre season in London. The production was supported by sponsors including Access Bank UK and partners such as the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce and the Bank of Industry.
