BAPS North American headquarters upgrades media studio

The BAPS North American headquarters in Robbinsville, New Jersey, has upgraded its media studio with a Solid State Logic (SSL) Oracle 24-channel in-line mixing console. The facility, located on a campus that includes the largest Hindu temple in North America, is used for voice and music production, as well as post-production for media content.

The studio is currently being utilized to record and mix programming for a forthcoming museum on the 185-acre campus. The new console provides a fully analog signal path with instant recall capabilities, addressing limitations of the previous equipment that only offered partial recall. Technology overseer Aksharmurtidas Swami noted that the ability to save snapshots and multiple versions of a mix allows for greater creative flexibility and workflow efficiency when managing content for the 125 BAPS facilities across North America.
