BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir to open near Paris
The BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir, France’s first traditional Hindu temple, is scheduled to be inaugurated in Bussy-Saint-Georges, near Paris. The opening will be marked by a 13-day ‘Festival of Culture’ running from September 2 to September 14, 2026.
Constructed using traditional Indian craftsmanship, the temple stones were carved in India and then transported to France for assembly by Indian artisans and French experts.
