Baptist Health Rehabilitation Hospital opens in South Miami

The Baptist Health Rehabilitation Hospital held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 29 in South Miami, Florida. The new three-story, 100,000-square-foot facility was a collaborative project involving Robins & Morton, Anchor Health Properties, Baptist Health South Florida, and LifePoint Rehabilitation.

The hospital provides specialized inpatient rehabilitation for patients with brain and spinal cord injuries, as well as those recovering from cardiac, oncology, orthopedic, and stroke-related conditions. The facility currently features 62 private inpatient rooms, with the potential to expand by an additional 30 rooms.

Amenities include multidisciplinary therapy gyms with advanced therapeutic technologies, speech-language pathology rooms, adaptive units, and outdoor spaces designed to assist in patient recovery. The site also includes a three-story parking garage with 179 spaces.
