Bar association presidents meet in Kastamonu to discuss legal profession issues

The Kastamonu Bar Association hosted the Black Sea Region Expanded Bar Presidents Meeting, bringing together 19 bar presidents from the Black Sea region and surrounding provinces, including Yozgat, Kırşehir, Çankırı, and Bilecik.

Erinç Sağkan, President of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB), emphasized the importance of these gatherings for the legal profession and the rule of law in Turkey. He noted that the outcomes of these meetings would be actively monitored by the TBB.

The meeting focused on addressing general challenges within the legal profession and discussing potential regulatory improvements to prevent professional difficulties. Kastamonu Bar Association President Özgür Demir opened the session by highlighting the importance of finding solutions to shared professional issues. The participants announced that a declaration of results covering the discussed topics would be prepared and shared with the public.
