Bar Council of India and ICMAI Set 2026 Admission Deadlines

The Bar Council of India (BCI) issued a circular stating that for the 2026‑27 academic session only law colleges that obtain valid regulatory approval by 31 July 2026 will be permitted to admit students. No further extensions to the application deadline will be granted, and institutions lacking the required affiliation will be barred from enrolling students or conducting law courses during the session.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) announced an extension of the registration deadline for candidates appearing in the Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) December 2026 examination. Applicants can now submit their online applications until 4 August 2026, extending the previous deadline of 31 July 2026. The institute provided detailed steps for online registration and urged candidates to complete the process promptly.
