Bar owner shot dead by armed trio in Capinzal do Norte

Maria Silvana Sampaio Vieira, a 38-year-old bar owner, was shot and killed inside her establishment in the Terreirão neighborhood of Capinzal do Norte, Maranhão, on Thursday afternoon.

Security footage captured the moment three unidentified men entered the bar. According to reports, the suspects arrived on two motorcycles, and one individual entered the premises to fire shots at the victim. Maria Silvana died at the scene before medical assistance could be provided.

A female patron at the bar managed to escape injury by hiding inside the building during the attack. The suspects fled the scene immediately following the shooting and remain at large. The Civil Police have opened an investigation to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive behind the homicide.
