Bara no Kusari film trailer and visuals released

The official visual and trailer for the upcoming film ‘Bara no Kusari’ (Chains of Roses) have been released. Starring Ryuhei Maruyama of SUPER EIGHT and Erika Sawajiri, the movie is scheduled for a nationwide release in Japan on December 11.

The plot follows two individuals who wake up handcuffed together with no memory of their identities, surrounded by large sums of money and drugs. As they are pursued by unknown assailants, they must navigate a high-stakes escape while questioning whether they are allies or enemies.

Directed by Sakichi Sato, the film features a diverse cast of supporting actors, including Ryo Aoki and Riku. Notably, Takashi Miike will appear in a significant role as the ‘final boss.’ The film’s theme song, ‘Kuroneko no Tambourine,’ was written specifically for this production by Kazutoshi Saito.
