Barack and Michelle Obama celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on October 3. The former president and former first lady shared tributes to one another via social media to mark the occasion.

Barack Obama posted a portrait of the couple with a message stating, “I’m still the luckiest guy in the world to be with you.” Michelle Obama shared a collection of photos and videos spanning their relationship, from their early dating days in Chicago to their time in the White House. She captioned her post, “Loving you just keeps getting better and better!”

The couple first met in 1989 while working at a law firm in Chicago and married in October 1992 at the Trinity United Church of Christ.
