Barahona Mayor announces city-wide road patching program

The Mayor of Barahona, Milton Emilio Fernández, has announced the launch of a road patching program to address community complaints regarding deteriorating streets. The initiative is being carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works.

Work is scheduled to begin at the corner of Sánchez Street and Luperón Avenue, with additional points to be addressed throughout the city. Residents are encouraged to report specific areas of deterioration to the Mayor's office.

Regarding the Luperón Avenue extension near the Antonio Méndez Circumvallation Avenue, the Mayor noted that repairs there will be delayed until INAPA resolves existing sewage issues to ensure the longevity of the roadwork.
